This is a great basket!  Dimensions:  14” D x 9 ½”H not including handle.

Arrive the afternoon of the 22nd, settle in, enjoy the camp and after dinner meet for an hour.  There will be a short intro to your basket and students will prepare the bases for weaving the next day.  On the 23rd following breakfast, students will learn to chase weave with fine weavers to build the base circumference.   The weaver gradually increases in width for weaving the rest of the basket.  Add two hand carved hardwood handles for carrying.  A sturdy half round rim accented with seagrass rim filler and double lashed completes the basket.  This class will be fun for all weavers.  Linda will demonstrate, teach you weaving techniques and guide you while you weave your basket.  Instructor will have all the materials to make the basket and tools students will need during class.
