Using Sagamore as both a base camp and backdrop setting, this course will help students to develop the "eye" for image, using the camp's structures, setting and several nearby wilderness locations as your artistic canvas.
Designed for both beginning and intermediate photographers, course time will consist of instruction, exploration and lots of time to shoot a variety of settings at various times of day. Sagamore's remote location, combined with on-site lodging and meals, lends itself perfectly to such a workshop experience, in that sublime photo opportunities are available any time of day, and only steps away from your room or the Dining Hall.
This unique, 5-night program will be offered twice -- in July and September -- in order to provide two seasons of visual appeal. Summer at Sagamore offers the chance to see flowers and wildlife in full bloom, while fall presents visitors with the vibrant colors of autumnal splendor.
Class size is limited to 8 students per session in order to provide participants with one-to-one guidance and insight, these programs will fill quickly.
