Join Sagamore’s experienced outdoor educators for a five day adventure in the Historic Great Camps Special Management Area region that surrounds camp. Students will learn basic camping and outdoor skills, including wayfinding, canoe and water safety, making a 'leave no trace' campsite and back country emergency skills. Participants will spend the week exploring the forest, waters and estate ruins that surround Sagamore. This program is limited to 12 students (age 13 - 17) and is an exceptional learning opportunity; participants will love and appreciate the Adirondack wilderness while enjoying a great time with Sagamore staff and making new friends.
